The Bible Teaches Tithing
and Faithful Stewardship

    MALACHI 3: 8-10
“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye
say, Wherein have we robbed thee?   In tithes and
    offerings.”

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that
there may be meat in mine house, and prove me
now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not
open you the windows of heaven, and pour you
out a blessing, there shall not be room enough to
    receive it.”

    LEVITICUS 27:30
“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of
the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s:
It is Holy unto the Lord.”

    I CORINTHIANS 16:2
“Upon  the first day of the week let every one of you
lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him,
that there be no gatherings when  I come.”

    I CORINTHIANS 4:2
“Moreover, it is required in stewards that man be
    found faithful.”

    MATTHEW 25:20-21
“And so he that had received five talents came and
brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou
deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have
gained beside them five talents more.

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and
faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few
things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter
thou into the joy of thy lord.”

Stewardship is an important part of being a
Christian because it allows us to give back to God
    what
He has entrusted to us.  He will bless you, if you are
faithful. The tithe is 10%  of our income. The tithe
belongs to God! Each member is asked to pay their
tithes each week or month as God has graciously
    blessed you.
